“Lost Cats” is a poignant exploration of the gradual fading passion and purpose. Each cat in the painting symbolizes a different aspect of a person’s life- from hobbies to careers, embodying the growing disconnection and apathy that can arise over time. The cats, once vibrant and curious , now appear distant and forlorn, much like the interests and dreams they represent. A round portal at the center of the cnavas acts as a dark vortex, where all the cats are being devoured, symbolizing the overwhelming pull of neglect and the inevitable erosion of once-cherished pursuits. Through subtle details and muted tones, the piece captures the silent surrender of passion, evoking a sense of quiet loss and the struggle to reclaim what was once deeply loved.
